German edition of “Outside” nominated for the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis

“Die Natur” – the German edition of “Outside” (edited by Beltz) – has been nominated for best Non-fiction book at the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis / German Children’s Literature Award.

It is the most important children’s and young adult literature award in Germany, intended to encourage the development literature for young readers, to arouse and maintain public interest in those works, and to stimulate discussions in this field of literature. In that sense, it aims to offer guidance to readers in the vast German book market.

The Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis/German Children’s Literature Award annually awards books in four categories: Children’s books, Picturebooks, Young Adult and Non-fiction.

This is the second time one of Planeta Tangerina’s books receives a nomination, after “Nobody passes” won the award for best Picturebook, in 2017.

This year’s winners will be announced in October.
