Valerio Vidali winner of Ilustrarte 2012

The jury of Ilustrate - Biennial of Illustration for Children - announced that the winner of this 5th edition is ValerioVidali with the illustrations created for the book "A Day in the life of an umbrella" (text by Davide Cali), published by Planeta Tangerina.
Among the nearly 1600 entries received, the jury distinguished with two Honorable Mentions Simone Rea's illustrations for the book “Favole” (edited by Topipittori) and the work of Swiss Nina Wehrle and Evelyne Laube for the book “Die Grosse Flute” (Great Full) edited by SJW.
The jury was composed by João Paulo Cotrim, Isidro Ferrer, Martin Jarrie, Paolo Canton and Isabelle Vandenabeele (winner of the 2010 edition).
