10/1/2012
Planeta Tangerina has been included in the list of award nominees for the ALMA Prize 2012 (ALMA: Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award), the biggest international prize for literature for children and youngsters.
This year 184 candidates, from 66 countries, have been nominated. (Almost) all of them huge, big names!
The nominees, for example, include, amongst others Quentin Blake, Eric Carle, Wolf Erlbruch, Lisbeth Zwerg or Bookstart organization from the UK.
For those who don’t remember, Astrid Lindgren is the Swedish author and creator of the famous Pippi Longstocking that so angered parents and teachers in Sweden during the fifties.
